In the heart of Milan, the renovation of a 100sqm apartment redefines the living spaces for a young family expecting their second child. The new layout clearly separates the living and sleeping areas, placing the latter on the side overlooking the inner garden and dedicating the brightest openings to the shared living spaces.

At the core of the project is the open-plan living area, where the kitchen and lounge coexist within a single space. A bespoke blue volume organizes the functions, incorporating the entrance wardrobe and concealing the laundry room, while the kitchen is designed to completely hide all appliances, including the oven.

The private area accommodates 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, both designed without windows thanks to the integration of a mechanical ventilation system and ducted air conditioning, ensuring continuous air renewal and purification throughout the home. Custom-made furniture, recessed wardrobes, and integrated desks optimize every room while creating a cohesive design language across the apartment.

The character of the project emerges through the balance between architectural minimalism and personalized details: flush doors, custom wall paneling that conceals the radiators, and a curated selection of iconic design pieces interact with bespoke elements, creating a bright, functional home designed to evolve alongside family life.
